HRS welcomes new board of directors president

Frauenfeld. Effective 1 May 2012, the state councillor of the canton of Thurgau, Roland Eberle, takes over as president of the board of directors of HRS Holding AG from former president Rainer Sigrist. The HRS board thanks Rainer Sigrist for his many years of commitment and is convinced Mr Eberle will be a valuable asset to the company.

Under the umbrella of HRS Holding AG with headquarters in Frauenfeld, the HRS Group is made up of the companies HRS Real Estate AG, HRS Investment AG, HRS Promotion AG, HRS Renovation AG, HRS Real Estate AG, Vaduz, and HRS International AG.The new president will begin his appointment on 1 May 2012: Rainer Sigrist, who has acted as president since the end of 2008, will hand over his seat after 3 ½ years to the state councillor of the canton of Thurgau, Roland Eberle from Weinfelden/TG. The 58-year old businessman and certified agricultural engineer (dipl. Ing. Agr. ETH) is a successful politician with experience in management, business and government. In this position, and thanks to his excellent network of contacts, he will make an important contribution to the continued development of HRS’ domestic activities.With over 20 years of experience within the company and as a former co-owner of HRS, Rainer Sigrist continued in an advisory capacity after the management buyout of 2004, offering support and his valuable experience to the two new owners Martin Kull and Rebecca Zuber, even after the sale of his share of the company in 2008. HRS thanks Rainer Sigrist for his great commitment.The new board of directors at HRS will continue to be made up of five members: Roland Eberle, agricultural engineer from Weinfelden, president; Martin Kull, civil engineer from Bottighofen, CEO, delegate and vice president; Rebecca Zuber, architect from Bottighofen, COO and board member; Ernst Schär, lawyer from Bern, board member; and Dr. Arthur R. Wettstein, technical engineer from Freienbach, board member.The HRS Group, headquartered in Frauenfeld/TG, the group currently employs 210 highly trained professionals at 12 locations in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, with a construction volume in 2011 of over 1 billion Swiss francs.
