In November 2018, the electorate of Flawil approved the partial zoning change of the FLAWA site East. Subsequently, FLAWA AG, as the property owner, held numerous talks with cantonal and local authorities and entered into a partnership with HRS. The two companies want to develop and build on the area together.
A study contract has now been awarded to five renowned architectural firms from eastern Switzerland to show what kind of superstructure should be built on the site. Over the next few months, they will draw up different designs for a suitable site development with rental and owner-occupied flats as well as commercial space.
FLAWA and HRS are looking forward to taking the next steps for the planned development of the approximately 7,000 m² site.
