The people of Bern said yes to the New Festival Hall: they approved the building regulations and the investment contribution with 64 and 51 % respectively. HRS is very pleased about the Bernese people's vote of confidence in this generational project.Messepark Bern AG, in which HRS has been an investor since May 2020, estimates the demolition and construction time at around two years, assuming optimal progress. According to the current planning status, construction is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2022, and the opening of the New Festival Hall is planned for 2024.
