Opening of the Arch_Tec_Lab at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich

Today saw the opening of the ETH's Arch_Tec_Lab at its Hönggerberg campus in Zurich. It's a whole new kind of building, constructed on the roof of a parking garage. The new building will function as a real-life laboratory for research and will be home to the latest technologies while also embodying a sustainable approach to the use of resources. Designed around specific needs, the building was developed by HRS Real Estate AG, which acted as a full-service contractor guaranteeing all costs, quality and the meeting of deadlines.
