Police and judicial centre (PJZ): general contractor selected

The Zurich Cantonal Council has awarded the general contracting services for the police and judicial centre (PJZ) worth CHF 387.8 million to HRS Real Estate AG. This fixed-price contract currently projects the construction costs at 0.2% above the credit facility approved by the Cantonal Council in 2012, which amounts to a direct hit.
Now that the general contracting services have been awarded, the construction of the PJZ can begin – subject to potential appellate proceedings. Completion is planned for 2020/2021.
