Arealentwicklung Sangenfeld

The Sangenfeld site sits at the interface between the industrial zone, with its large-scale buildings, and the residential zone, made up of neighborhoods of varying density. The new buildings are grouped to form two courtyards, with a plaza-like street space in between. This layout creates generous, highly usable outdoor spaces with maximum distances between buildings and good sun exposure for both apartments and outdoor areas; at the same time, various sightlines maintain visual connections to the surroundings and weave the development into the fabric of the place.

On the roughly 22,100 m² site, a total of nine buildings will be built, comprising around 310 rental and owner-occupied apartments. The project is being realized in stages: along Johanna-Meyerhans-Strasse, five apartment buildings have already been completed — three buildings with 51 rental apartments and two further buildings with 33 condominiums. The architecture was designed by Zita Cotti Architekten AG, Zurich, with the landscape design provided by KOLB Landschaftsarchitektur GmbH.

As project developer and general contractor with a full guarantee on cost, quality, and schedule, HRS Real Estate AG is delivering the project on behalf of HS Investment AG and Meyerhans + Cie AG, both based in Weinfelden.
