Dohlenzelg district school

The Dohlenzelg district school in Windisch underwent extensive renovation and modernization while school operations continued. The goal of the project was to create a contemporary learning environment that meets today’s educational, technical, and energy requirements. Thanks to the carefully planned, phased implementation, school operations could continue throughout the entire construction period, thereby minimizing disruptions for students and teachers.

As part of the renovation, the school building received a new, energy-efficient building envelope with modern facade insulation and high-quality aluminum windows. At the same time, all classrooms were extensively renovated and equipped with modern climate control and ventilation systems. Modern interactive whiteboards and technical facilities create optimal conditions for innovative and future-oriented teaching.

In addition, key safety-related and technical systems were modernized. The retrofitting of the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system as well as the exhaust air systems improves safety and ensures a comfortable indoor climate. Through the combination of energy optimization, technical modernization, and functional renovation, a school building was created that meets the needs of future generations.

HRS carried out the project as the general contractor with a full guarantee on costs, quality, and schedule. Thanks to precise planning, phased execution, and close collaboration with the client, the renovation was successfully completed. Today, the Dohlenzelg District School stands as a modern educational facility offering a high quality of environment and sustainable added value for the municipality of Windisch.
