Grossackerzentrum Shopping Silberturm

The comprehensive renovation of the Grossackerzentrum Shopping Silberturm in St. Gallen has modernized this major shopping and service hub and positioned it for a sustainable future. The renovation work included the phased refurbishment of the shopping center as well as the complete renovation of the three underground parking levels.

Carrying out the work while the center remained open posed a particular challenge. Through careful phasing of the work, existing operations were maintained throughout the construction period, and disruptions for visitors and tenants were kept to a minimum.

As the general contractor, HRS was responsible for the planning and implementation of the project and ensured compliance with the defined quality, cost, and schedule targets. Today, the modernized center presents itself as an attractive and sustainable location for retail, services, and community interaction.
