IWC Arena

The renovation of the IWC Arena in Schaffhausen has created a modern, multifunctional sports and event facility that meets the needs of both competitive and recreational sports, as well as those of event organizers and visitors. The extensively modernized ice sports complex offers optimal conditions for ice hockey and other ice sports activities and reinforces its role as a key gathering place in the region.

The centerpiece of the project is the modernized ice rink with approximately 1,300 grandstand seats. The facility is complemented by a modern curling hall with club rooms, which provides space for both club activities and sporting events. Thanks to its flexible usage options, the arena is also available for various events and functions outside the winter season.

As the general contractor, HRS was responsible for the project’s execution and ensured timely, cost-effective, and high-quality implementation. With the renovated IWC Arena, Schaffhausen now has a sustainable sports and event venue with regional appeal.
