Initial situation

A modern residential and business district is being built on the site of the former textile machine factory Schweiter AG. In honour of the industrial history of the location, the former factory halls should be preserved and the planned new buildings should be supplemented with additional areas for residential and commercial use.

Planning

The Horgen Oberdorf residential development is picturesquely nestled between the Sihlwald and the lake shore and at the same time in close proximity to the urban infrastructure. The planning includes a wide range of apartment types and expansion options, which ensures a diverse tenant mix. All residents benefit from the excellent location and from apartments with a lake view and an unforgettable panoramic view of the Graubünden Alps. Pedestrian-friendly development, car sharing and bicycle infrastructure are part of the mobility concept and contribute to the overall sustainable balance.

Implementation
