Synathlon

With the «Synathlon» in Écublens, HRS Real Estate AG successfully delivered an architecturally pioneering and internationally renowned competence center for sports acting as the general contractor. The five-story building was designed in accordance with the stringent and forward-looking Minergie-P-ECO standard, which meets the highest demands for energy efficiency, ecological sustainability, and a healthy indoor climate. Inside, the state-of-the-art complex offers a diverse infrastructure comprising offices, specialized laboratories, modern seminar rooms, and a spacious auditorium.

Thanks to its optimal layout, the building unites key institutions of the sports world under one roof: the complex houses the secretariat of the CSI (International Sports Cluster), the ISSUL (Institute of Sport Sciences of the University of Lausanne), as well as FISU (International University Sports Federation) and AISTS (International Academy of Sports Science and Technology). This concentration of expertise and education has created a unique hub of global significance. Through precise planning and exceptional execution quality, HRS handed over this demanding large-scale project on schedule and within budget.
